Food is another basic human need. We know that not all people have the ability or need to grow their own vegetables and foods. However, many people want to become less dependent on grocery stores; especially in a crisis situation. If you have a small yard or balcony, growing or knowing how to grow your own food is a great skill. Growing your own food is cost effective and can be a very rewarding hobby that the entire family can enjoy.
Our last question: Do you know where your vegetables and meats come from? Do you know what chemicals and preservatives they put into that can of soup you just bought? We already know the answer. Think about what you are putting it into your body every day.
